Our leaders and elite need to believe in Canada, and not just in words but in private sector investment as well. Capital (and cash flow) are the Achilles Heel of Canadian business that isn't resource extracting, a US subsidiary or in real estate. Our investors need more confidence and ambition in Canada.
As for expanding trade within Canada and expanding exports, until dairy supply management is wound down I just won't believe Canada truly serious about maximizing productivity in Canada and trade among the world beyond the US.
